St. James Apostle In Natá de los Caballeros

August 2011

The Spanish Castilla del Oro delegation led by its president, Christopher Columbus, visited the town of Nata de los Caballeros during their visit to Panama (central provinces).

His path to the town was full of deep emotion as he left on a pilgrimage from the San Juan Bautista Church along with the image of St. James to that city. Villagers and local authorities greeted and accompanied the bronze image sculpted by Spanish artist Luis Martín de Vidales to the central square where he was finally placed.

One of Richard Fifer – Carles (entrepreneur) ideas, which is passed on by the presidents of the Castilla del Oro Foundation, is to provide residents of Castilla del Oro the ability to develop a different tourism, that gives value to the entire region. Spiritual tourism.
